A slow day where the family is together. Tom was on the couch listening to Tails tell him about his new invention.Thank God, Tom's broken arm is healed and good as new, but he still can't stretch with it.

Maddie is in the kitchen making bread with Knuckles. She instructs Knuckles to punch the dough angrily so the bread will be soft, and so he does. Unfortunately, he accidentally breaked the kitchen sink while doing so.

Sonic is watching a hedgehog through the window, which was outside, with curiosity, after all he has never seen a being of the same species as his so small and brown. He says, "Why is this little guy so small? Hello?" he waves.

Hearing the sound of the sink breaking in the kitchen, Sonic jumps off the stool he was sitting on and walks into the kitchen. He sees Knuckles with flour all over his face and bits of dough all over his spines. The sink, broken with water gushing. Maddie with a 'choked' face and a 'what do I do' smile? Sonic laughed. "Hey Knuckles...this is bread dough, not an evil robot. No need to be harsh."

Tom and Tails follow Sonic, also having been interrupted by the crash. Tails smiles and tells Tom, "That's why my gadgets are indestructible." Tom sighs and puts his hand to his face, "Oh my god, this is going to be expensive."
